As an editor, and in designing workshops, I strive to support the writer’s deftness, fluency, and sense of play—to facilitate the ability to write both intuitively and with control.

Bethany GibsonBethany has been an editor and writing mentor for more than 25 years. Currently she is a partner with Narrative Agency and, since 2006, fiction editor with Goose Lane Editions. I consider editing and working with writers to be a great privilege, and a vocation. I aim to inhabit a piece of writing, to give its author a thorough and inspiring sense of what it is on the page and what it could yet be.
